Scam???? Maybe...
I have ordered deer corn from 4 different sellers and each time I have gotten a notice that the shipper lost it or packaging wasn't sufficient, bla bla. A couple days ago, the seller said it was on the way to local post office. Today, it was allegedly delivered. Nope, and no one on camera. AND the tracking number is a Fedex number not USPS. I'm guessing they are from China..the first 3 refunded $ quickly..this last one hasn't replied yet. Guessing they will refund as well. THIS is why I use PayPal..wondering if I use CC they would have the # and who knows. Manna Pro Top Score Apple Deer Corn..Save yourself the wait 😞

eBay does not share credit card numbers with sellers, if that is what you are concerned about; eBay buyers pay eBay directly, and eBay pays sellers in a separate transaction.
You may be better off picking your sellers with extra care, by choosing only to do business with experienced sellers with lots of positive feedback for delivery exactly what was described and no patterns of troubling feedback, and by taking measures to avoid any new or inexperienced sellers, sellers that have changed behavior drastically lately, or sellers that appear to be drop-shipping.
It may not be possible to always identify in advance those sellers who drop-ship, but it is possible to identify some common characteristics of illicit retail drop-shippers or other under-performing sellers, and thus avoid the worst of them.
Often they can be spotted by a combination of low feedback number, free shipping of heavy items where it would not be profitable to use retail shipping, use of stock photos, high handling time (not necessarily if they are using Amazon or Walmart, though), poor feedback received with complaints of delays and wrong items or out of stock cancellations, very odd item selection and/or quantities like items were chosen at random from a catalog, canned item descriptions scraped from another site that exactly match many other similar listings, differences between registration location on the feedback page and item location (or vague item location -- like "US, United States"), or inability to answer even basic questions about the items being sold.
First, contact the shipping service used to determine if the tracking number corresponds to a delivery to your address. If the name and address on the package is not yours, you may be the victim of "false tracking".
One option to deal with "false tracking" is contacting eBay via social media, specifically via Instagram. If you can get documentation from the shipping service that the tracking number is not associated with your name and address, you may be able to contact eBay via Instagram direct message, mention false tracking, and get a chance to submit your documentation.
If you cannot get documentation or if that does not work:
Since false tracking allows a scam seller to win an "item not received" case, the next step would be to file a "not as described" return on eBay and be prepared to return exactly what you received if the seller provides for return shipping, or ask eBay to step in after three business days if the seller does not refund you or provide return shipping.

OP5 months agoYea, they all had great 4+ and 5 star feedback...could be fake too. Thanks for info, I'll wait a bit and when he replies, play it from there..guess a refund like the others.

Check the feedback comments for selling, and compare the items receiving feedback from actual users (not automated feedback) to the items the seller is selling right now, and see if there are any comments indicating problems with item location misrepresentation or that mention getting shipments from retail sites, or out of stock cancellations, wrong items sent, wrong quantities or other supply chain warning signs.
