Scam?
Recently has some issue with a purchase and I asked for an agent to call me back. The phone number was (801) 545-1800. Is this a legitimate number from eBay?

Mentor8 months agoEbay does not have a direct phone line. Any number you find by searching on line is not correct and could lead you to a scammer.
Most questions/issues can be correctly addressed here by the experienced and knowledgeable Ebay Mentors.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service.

3. Answer the chat bots question by stating what you need help with.
4.Type AGENT ( you may have repeat steps 3 and 4)
5. Request a call back or live chat. (Note that the contact options vary depending on the topic and staffing availability)
