Like insurance, state of Colorado customs fees. Think I'm being scammed.. trying to find out information.

·2 years agoDid you originally find the vehicle ON eBay.com, or was it on Facebook, CL, or some other site? If you didn’t find it ON eBay, with a 12 digit item number, then you were scammed, but eBay had nothing to do with it. eBay and these other sites are completely separate entities. Often a scammer will tell you the transaction will go through eBay to gain your trust. They usually have a sob story to explain the low price and urgency to sell. They’ll send an invoice that looks like it’s from eBay, but it isn’t. Any phone number connects to the scammer, not eBay.
ebay doesn’t have warehouses, and never stores or ships ANYTHING.
