Say's the seller is in the USA
The seller is not in the USA; they seem to be in China & I want to buy from people in the USA. Why is ebay allowing them to lie about where they are located? I'm getting kind of fed up with ebay & when I've had my fill, it will be Mmmmmmm, buh bye now.

eBay does not keep track of where sellers are or allow users to search by seller location. eBay only knows where the account was registered originally, and where the seller says the item is located when the item is listed. Users can search by item location, but this information is provided by sellers, and the information may not be reliable.
Some sellers that are registered overseas have warehouses in the US to ship from. Others registered overseas claim to ship from the US, but may not always do so. And some accounts registered in the US drop-ship from overseas despite claiming to ship from the US.
Probably the best way to deal with sellers that misrepresent item location is to avoid them. The "US only" item location filter selects items that are listed as being in the United States; however, as you have seen, not every seller that lists items in the US ships from the US as they should.
Before ordering you should check the estimated delivery dates -- that is a good indication of how far away items actually ship from. Also, going to a seller's profile page or feedback page will tell you where the seller's account was registered. If a seller is registered overseas, that raises the likelihood of an item shipping from outside the US, particularly for multiple quantity commodity items. Checking seller feedback will often reveal if there are problems with long shipping times, canceled orders or other supply chain warning signs.
