Same zip code tracking scam
I’m a victim of the same zip code tracking scam a seller who was selling an iPad of which I paid $739.77 used a tracking number that has the same zip code as me but shipped to a different address….I opens a dispute with eBay and when the day arrives for me to escalate the dispute the seller quickly swooped in and escalated it it and eBay ruled in favor of the seller because the tracking number showed delivery to my zip code…I’m super **bleep** about this so I do some investigating and contact USPS and ask them did this package with this tracking number get shipped to my address? They ask me to come in and show id to confirm who I am and where I live….They confirm that it did not get shipped to my address so I’m like great I have proof that this package never got shipped to my address and I have USPS send me an email confirming that it did not get shipped to me….yet now since my eBay complaint/case is closed and ruled against me I have no way of contacting eBay to show them my evidence of this scam….Does anyone know how to actually make contact with a customer service representative at eBay? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
