Sales tax on US currency
I purchased a gold US coin and was charged sales tax. I have purchased many others and was not charged sales tax. I looked up the state where the coin came from, and they do not charge sales tax on US coinage. The seller says that it is an Ebay problem so they can't refund the sales tax. What do I do now? AI chat was no help.

Mentor9 months agoThe sales tax is based on the state where the item is delivered to and based on the category the coin was listed in on Ebay.
