Why am I being charged Sales Tax on a product that's being shipped from another country? No one else does that.

Sales tax is based on the buyer's shipping address.

OP2 years agoThank you for your response. I buy a lot of products on the Internet. No merchant from outside the US charges me any sales tax.

Mentor2 years agoMany states have passed laws regarding how internet marketplace facilitators such as eBay must collect sales tax for items delivered to those states.
