Won a coin at auction and was charged sales tax. My state, Indiana, does not charge tax on buillion .999 fine nor anything else in precious metals from my ebay experience. First time I ever was charged sales tax. Looked at the sellers category listed. Looks like its in the proper category. So, I won a coin and boom, sales tax was added no warning. What should I do? Called ebay customer service and have tried in my account to talk about it. But on the phone, there is no prompt to talk about sales tax. Therefore, I can't talk to anyone. Does anyone know the secret code to talk to a live one? Or what should I do in this situation? BTW, seller unresponsive. Thank you!
