Sales tax exemption status
Is there an easier way to contact support for help on sales tax exemption setup??? Have been set up to purchase tax exempt for years with no issues and beginning of this year (maybe they needed to renew) it started making our business pay sales tax on items we purchased for resale. We submitted same forms as last time on 1/6/26 and then somehow we actually reached an ebay member on 1/13/26 to check status. We were told it was taking 7-10 business days and we would receive an email by 1/19/26. Now here it is the 22nd and still no email, and still charging sales tax on all purchases??? Can anyone please help, or is this a lost cause???

Mentor8 months agoI updated mine on the 2nd of January and it has still not been taken care of. I contacted eBay a few days ago and they said they would look into it.
They said that they were very busy. I've never had this issue before this year. I can't tell you why it is such a problem this year.
