SALES TAX CHARGED ON FOOD ITEMS SHIPPED TO CALIFORNIA
I have bought a few food items and was charged sales tax by ebay. California does not charge sales tax for food items.
How do I get that sales tax money back? Has this happened to other food non taxable states too?

Unfortunately, mis-applied sales taxes do happen on eBay more often than they "should." Often on food items, clothing, and collectible coins.
This can usually be traced to the category in which the seller chose to list the item.
The best advice for getting a refund is to contact the state. Start with a visit to your state's official website.
