Sales tax has nothing to do with income tax, as ebay collects it and it is not reported to the IRS. However, if you hold a resale certificate in your state you will still have file in your state to account for quarterly gross sales, even though you owe no tax. @emmascottage Do you mean 2022 ? Unless you are in a state with a lower threshold, you need to have sold $20,000 and 200 items to receive a 1099k. Check here - https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/taxforms
