sales tax
I purchased a gift card and was charged sales tax, this item is non taxable , is there a way to get back the money I paid in sales tax back to me?

Sales tax is determined by the category the item is listed in. So a hoodie listed in sporting goods is taxes as sporting goods, not clothing. eBay will not refund the tax you paid.
You can contact your state dept of revenue and ask if there is a way to claim a refund - often this can be done on your income tax return.
