Sales Tax
Hello, hope someone can help! cannot find answers on eBay.
I sold an item today. The buyer as well as me was charged the same amount of Sales Tax.
Why is the buyer and seller paying Sales Tax?

·1 year agoTax is charged to the buyer, and first appears in with their total payment to you (item price + shipping + sales tax. Then eBay pulls the sales tax out of what the buyer paid you and remits it to the buyer’s state.
