sales dropping off instantly? Is Ebay having glitches or tech problems?
Always listing usually five items or more a day, and on average selling at least 3-5 items a day. Usually only promote items 3-5%. We usually have at least 200 plus items for sale, and we have only sold five items the past seven days and actually went three days with no sales? Just wondering if there is something going on with ebay site that I don't know of? Been a seller since 1998 and have always changed along with the changes that ebay has gone through the years. Did a little research and did notice other problems people are having but not so much as the situation that I mentioned above. Decided to take all of the items that have been on a while and lowered price and promoted the recommendation by Ebay and still no improvement after seven days. Appreciate any input.

You sold four items yesterday and 4 items the day before that...
For most sellers, sales decrease continuously over the net several months until around October when they start rising again for the holidays. Other sellers might have a different selling peak (for example, sellers who sell swimwear). Unless you have developed your selling curve, year-over-year, you really don't have any data to draw on. You can't compare this week to last week, you need to compare this month to the same month last year.
(When you see differences year over year, take a look at your assortment, how much demand there is for the items you have, how many listings do you have, how much competition do you have, how do your prices compare to others, etc. There are over 2 billion active items on eBay at any moment with new listings going up every minute. When you started on eBay, there wasn't anywhere near that many listings.)
And then there are out-of-the-ordinary occurrences such as the severe snow storm that impacted states in the northeast last weekend.
Your question is posted on the boards every single day at least once. Sales fluctuate from day to day, week to week, month to month. That's normal, not just on eBay, but wherever you sell (and has been normal since back in the caveman trading days).
