Ask this question on any day in any year and the answer will be yes. Some sellers have sales downturns and some have sales increases.
That being said, sales start dropping after the holidays and continue to drop to September for most sellers - that is a fairly typical retail selling curve.
I track my weekly sales on a spreadsheet and have created a chart that includes the selling curve for each year. Of course there are fluctuations, but the selling curve for most years are similar (except for 2020 when I had a huge sales increase during the first year of COVID).
There are all sorts of other factors... what types of items you sell, your pricing, your competition, customer demand, etc.
