sale unfairly cancelled by seller
I am extremely frustrated with this situation. I purchased an item on 4/11/24. I was the only bidder of an auction which had a starting bid of $1 and no reserve. So, I won the item for $1. the seller didn't have the shipping set up so I just needed them to add shipping to the order so I could pay. I received a delayed response from the seller telling me the shipping cost would be $5.73. The seller thought I needed to imput that shipping price. I responded and explained that they (seller) would be who needs to update the shipping price and I would then, be able to pay right away. I never received a response from the seller. I now, just received a message informing me that the seller had cancelled the sale. my guess is that they didn't wanna let the item go for only $1. but, what about this so called "binding contract" between the buyer and seller? I want to know how I can contact a customer service representative because the seller clearly had seller's remorse about the item being sold for just $1. The seller didn't even contact me to tell me there was any issue(s) that would cause them to need to cancel the order. this is frustrating and wasted my time. I really wanted this item. so, please.. tell me how can I reach someone with ebay that can help me??

You can't force someone to sell something, but you can report him for lying about the reason for the cancellation.
On this page select violated policy - https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022 then select doesn't want to complete transaction. In the box write 'seller lied to avoid a defect for a seller cancelled transaction'.
