Sale of Veteran Grave Flag Holders on Ebay
Hello -
Today I found listings for the sale of "used" and "vintage" veteran grave flagholders on Ebay.
Typically, these are presented by the Veterans Affairs to the grave of a deceased veteran. They remain the PROPERTY of the federal government. It's a crime to remove them from the cemetery.
While there are new, usually aluminum or other white metal ones available for sale outside of the Veterans Administration, the vintage ones have been taken from peoples' graves.
Is it possible to do anything about this?

I understand why you are upset, I am too.
Selling these items is against eBay policy
Used funeral items are not allowed.
While we recognize that some historical grave markers may be privately held within families and legal to sell, eBay is concerned with vandalism that has occurred in graveyards across the world, and consequently prohibits their sale.
The following items are not allowed:

You can report the listings using the ? on the website or the 3 dots ⋯ on the app.
Please let me know if you have any trouble getting those listings removed.
