sale gone strange
Im not sure what happened. I never received any notification that someone had bought the item I am selling. In the meantime, I sold it to someone in person. apparently the person paid for it, but I dont know where to look for the payment. I am refunding the payment, but I cannot tell where that refund is coming from since I never received any money. help?

This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.
It is not a good idea to cross post items listed on eBay. If you have to cancel as out of stock you do receive a DEFECT which seriously hurts your account.
