Sale cancellation has been handled as a return. Need to talk with a human being to change.
I have a sale that was cancelled by mutual agreement with the buyer. eBay has deducted the shipping fees (over $100) from my funds but the item was not shipped and the shipping label was not used.

OP1 year agoThis solution is not working. Since I have already printed the label, I don't know how to "Locate the label" Also under return options, I am given:
1. Accept the return
The buyer will purchase a return label to ship the item back to you. (Buyer can't return an item that he never received.)
2. Decline the return
Close this return request, and the buyer keeps this item.
3. Offer a full or partial refund
Issue a refund and let the buyer keep the item.
Since this was a sale cancellation (by mutual agreement between seller and buyer) none of the "return" options can be used.
Even if I was able to get my money back from the USPS via the suggestion sent to me, the return would still be unresolved and my eBay rating would be negatively affected. How can I talk to an actual human being at eBay to change the status to ORDER CANCELLED and get eBay to refund the shipping costs which they deducted from the sale of a separate item.

Locate the label, click the down-arrow, click Cancel/void label.
The USPS will credit your account in 2-3 weeks after they have determined the label was never used.
