safety of payment

Question

Seller tells us the address of our house could not be found by UPS but it is the right address. Parcel is also not delivered at delivery address of UPS in our town..

Seller wants us to pay â‚¬ 40 more for sending the parcel again. They want OUR EMAIL ADDRESS for a paypal payment of the extra costs: IS THAT SAFE?

@fjvdv-67 not sure how ebay Spain works in comparison to here in the US, so u should post on the Spain site

for the U.S. - sellers are not allowed to charge more for anything than what was advertised on the listing. again, don't know how it works on the Spain site, but here in the US, we can open an item not received case.

also, due to the seller violating ebay policy by asking for more money, i would not trust anything about them,
