I bought a folding knife through your site and it arrived with a damaged blade, the pictures posted by the seller show the damage, I just didn't think something like this would happen to me because the description said new. The seller tells me to return the item, but if I return the item from my country, it costs much more than the knife itself. I was deceived and there is nothing I can do. I have been using your site for a long time and I thought that the buyer's rights would be protected, but I got a different reality.

Mentor2 years ago@miqel-tem Sorry your purchase didn't go smoothly and the knife is damaged.
Where did the seller ship to? Did they ship directly to you or to a US address? This affects your buyer protections.
How long have you had it? You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a refund request.
Please answer these questions so I can advise you on what you need to do next.

Buyers are ALWAYS protected by eBay’s Money Back Guarantee if they receive an item that is ‘not as described in some way. The SELLER is responsible for paying return shipping.
If the seller lives in another country … they won’t be able to provide a shipping label for the return. They will have to send you the money for postage (like through PayPal) if they want the item returned before refunding.
Your seller should have mentioned the damaged blade in the description. Showing the damage only in a photo is insufficient. Also, a damaged item is NOT ‘New’.
File a ‘Return request’ from your Purchase History … choosing ‘Item doesn’t match description or photos’ as the reason for request.
Ask eBay to step in after 3 business days if the seller hasn’t provided either a full refund OR the money for postage by then. You do that from your open request.
