I recently purchased an item that was defective and after following all the instructions to return it, I was told that the purchase is not on my purchased items and I’m getting no help from EBay on a refund. Even after sending them the order and item numbers and name of the vendor, which is car parts wholesale . Has anyone else had this issue?

The first thing I would do is search your email for the original eBay order confirmation.
Look for an email with a subject such as “Order Confirmed” or search for the seller name or the item you purchased. That email should show the correct eBay account or email address used for the purchase, along with the order number.
If the purchase was made as a guest, it will not appear in your regular Purchase History. You can still use the confirmation email to open the order details and start the return.
If you were signed into an eBay account, make sure you are currently signed into the same account shown in that order confirmation.
Do not send the item back outside of the eBay return process. Make sure the return is connected to the actual order.
