Rude seller
I paid for an item immediately after auction ended. That was 12/15/2022. I sent two messages, no response. I had to report, indicating I want a refund. Finally answers the have shipped item on 1/4/2023. Messaged me, “you thought I was Walmart you don’t pay me for customer service take it up with the company eBay.†“Please spare me your tearsâ€. I responded that I want a refund, not to ship today. “No shock An adult buying a McDonald’s to behaving like a child.â€

Mentor3 years agoThere is no rule that sellers must be polite. There is a rule that they must ship to meet the estimated delivery date. If the item arrives after that date it is not as described, and you can return it at the seller’s expense. Since you agreed to the estimated delivery date when you made your purchase, there is nothing to be done until then.
What is the latest estimated delivery date? If it is already past that date, open a not received claim -
go to your purchase history - select 'I haven't received it' and follow the prompts.
The seller has 3 business days to provide tracking that shows delivery, or a refund. If he doesn't, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
The seller may be able to get eBay to delay the not received refund, if there is movement on the tracking. If this happens, then after the item arrived, close the not received claim. Wait a day, then open a return - go to your purchase history - select return this item. Click see more under the reasons and select does not match the description, and follow the prompts.
