Robbed of $1500
Can anyone help me I was robbed of $1500 for selling my macbook pro. I am new to ebay and didnt understand a lot to it. He buyer had me make a paypal and told me to request the money on there. Everything seemed fine I was getting emails from paypay that I soon found out were AI generated and there was never any money waiting for me and I got robbed. USPS wont help, paypal cant help and even the local PD wont help because they dont accept reports over the phone. Platform augu8541

Mentor5 months agoSorry, but you were scammed by a criminal. Neither ebay or PayPal can help you as neither was actually involved in the payment. Best you can do is go down to your local police department and file a report.
Never ship anything that was not paid through the ebay checkout and approved by ebay with the ok to ship to the address supplied. Plus you must always have signature confirmation delivery with anything over $750.
