Hi, I've received a negative review from an EBAY buyer protesting EBAYs review policy This is the review.
(I'm rating my experience negative because I received a feedback request. It seems I receive a "feedback" request for any transaction, no matter how trivial, and now I'm fighting back by either ignoring them or rating them negative for having sent me a feedback request. I found the book I needed. I bought the book. It was delivered, as expected. Please stop this madness of sending a follow-up email about my fricking "experience".)
I contacted EBAY and they responded it can't be removed because it violates none of their policies. I've contacted the buyer explaining the argument is with EBAY not me. No response so far. Any help? And is their any phone # to talk to an actual rep. I can't get past the bot only allowing me to send an emai. thanks in advance

Mentor2 years agoI would be proactive. Let the buyer know that the FB request did NOT come from you, but from eBay. They opt out of receiving this reminder here https://commspreferences.ebay.com/commsprefs

OP2 years agoEBAY to remove in 24 to 72 hours via phone conversation with rep. Also got thru to buyer while on hold with rep and after realizing it was all EBAY and not seller related is willing to remove if EBAY doesn't . Actually nice guy just at wits end with all platform requests for constant reviews and time wasting requests. Thanks for the response

Have you sent the buyer a Feedback Revision request?
To talk to a Customer Service agent on the phone, use this link and click on "Have us call you":

But they may tell you the same thing that you already found out.

OP2 years agoGot through on phone link. After lengthy back and forth a helpful rep kept going back to "team' and did get approval to remove review. Supposedly will be removed in 24 to 72 hours. Hopefully true. Thanks again.
