review of fake products
Hello everyone,
I previously asked for advice here regarding an issue with an item I purchased, and I would like to ask for additional clarification.
I purchased an item from eBay US, and the seller shipped it domestically within the United States.
After that, I used a forwarding service to have the item delivered to South Korea.
After receiving the item, I checked the QR code and authentication details and found that the product appears to be counterfeit according to an official authentication platform.
I contacted the seller.
At first, the seller insisted that the item was authentic. However, after I provided documentation showing that the item was not authentic, the seller agreed to accept a return and promised a refund.
My questions are:
If I proceed with the return and refund, will I still be able to leave feedback for this transaction?
I want to leave an honest review so that other buyers are not affected by a similar situation. Is this possible after a return is completed?
In situations like this, what is the best way to ensure that buyer feedback accurately reflects the experience while still following eBay’s policies?
I am not trying to violate any rules — I simply want to understand how feedback works in return/refund cases and how to protect other buyers.
Thank you very much for your advice.
