Hi everyone,
I have experienced something very peculiar with eBay.
I purchased an item, all paid, transaction went through. One week goes by, no item, no shipping tracking, emailed the seller, no response. Another few days go by, emailed again still no response and no item. 2 weeks later, emailed third time to inquire about my item, still nothing. Ebay did say to wait few more days and after that they will refund my money.
Now, few days before eBay intervening I decided to check the seller's reviews, to my surprise there was a negative review, detailing exactly a similar situation. A day later, I got back on thinking to leave a review describing my experience with the seller. To my surprise, the negative review was gone. In any case, I left a factual review detailing exactly what happened to me. Few day later eBay refunded me my money. A day later I got back on and saw that my review was deleted. Emailed ebay inquiring why was my review deleted. The reply stated that "somehow" my review did not meet the standards.
Few days later, got back on and someone else had left a similar review, not receiving the sold item. A few days later got back on and the review that I saw last was also deleted.
Now, I just don't understand why is eBay deleting negative reviews, this particular seller is show a 100% positive reviews when I know for a fact that he had at least 3 negative reviews.
So can anyone enlighten me/explain to me what is happening here?
