Reversing a refund
I'm experiencing USPS delays of up to 2 weeks(it's scanned in at post office , but disappears for 5 , 6 or 20 days. I refund the money and now it's tracking and arriving.......what is the best way to get paid , what's allowed?
How is this particular issue addressed by the rest of the Community?
Thank you
Mike

If you purchased the label through eBay, and refunded through a not received claim, eBay will detect the delivery and reverse the refund for you.
If not through eBay or a not received claim, you need to contact the buyer and arrange for repayment outside of eBay - PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, etc - whatever works for you both.

OP8 months agoI did purchase the label through Ebay and refunded after they contacted me , making me aware of the issue. They did not initiate the refund , I just granted them one till I figured out what was going on

I would wait a little bit to see if eBay handles the reimbursement, but since it wasn’t marked as not received, I don’t think that they will.
You might message the buyer and ask if they still want the item, or would they like to return it. If return, you can buy a label at pirateship.com. If they want to keep it, ask how they would like to pay for it - you can agree on PayPal Venmo zelle etc - whatever works for you both.
You are better off to have the buyer open a not received claim - when you refund in full through your sold orders, it is considered a seller cancellation. You get a defect on your performance for this - you don’t want too many of those.
