Returns/Refunds
I requested a refund for an item that was missing pieces. The seller offered me a partial refund. Ebay note says I will also be able to keep the item and not have to return it. However, my question ~ If I reject the partial refund, won't I still be able to keep the item if I am awarded the full refund?

If you reject the partial refund, then the seller must provide a shipping label for you to return the item. Or he can issue a full refund and you keep the item. It is the seller’s choice.

OP2 years agoCan they only make one partial refund offer? If I reject their (first) partial refund offer, are they able to increase the amount and submit another to me?

The policy still says the seller can only make 1 offer which you can accept or reject. I thought they had added a second chance, but I must be wrong.

OP2 years agoThank you so much for your help and just one last question. If I accept this partial refund offer, or even if I don't and end up returning it, am I still able to leave feedback for that seller?

Yes, I believe so. There was a time recently that feedback was not allowed on cancelled or refunded transactions, but I don’t see where that ever became policy. (I know there were lots of people against it, so it might have been experimental.)
