Returns without Return requested
I have this buyer sending me messages saying he sent the item back. With a post office receipt. He has not started a return through eBay. Do I have any protections? And how can I contact an eBay representative to see how I should proceed?

Mentor4 months agoA post office receipt means nothing as it cannot prove delivery. This is what tracking is for. Without a tracking number to prove delivery neither eBay or their payment source will force a refund from you. The buyer needed to open a return request so eBay would help them. Without opening the request eBay will not give them any help.
