Returns that dont arrive

A buyer wanted to return a phone i sold him.....i sent him an ebay label....and my phone has not arrived.....ebay seem to have just washed their hands of it....what can i do?

What is the return delivery status? Does it show tracking and delivery confirmation to your location? If not wait for the final date the Buyer has to return it and if they don't then go to the return claim and have eBay close it in your favor.
