Returns question
If you buy an item based more on the description and category than paying more attention to the pictures (you bought via your phone through the eBay app), and when it shows up, it’s nothing like you were expecting, who is to blame? Let’s say the seller doesn’t accept returns, are you basically stuck with the item you don’t want, or should the seller just accept the return and give you a refund after the item is returned? The price was even in line with what the item you THOUGHT you were buying, so kind of at an empass here with this situation. What do you all think?

The seller’s return policy does not apply when an item does not match the description.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts. In the comments write wrong model, or however you determine the item does not match the description.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.

OP5 months agoYep, I’m going through that process with the seller now, but was basically told he doesn’t accept returns and that the pictures were of the product sent, regardless of the description not matching the pictures (picture was of a card, while the description was of the comic book, which is what I wanted)

You do not have to discuss anything with the seller. Open the return request using not as described as the reason. A seller cannot refuse a not as described return - he must either accept the return or refund without return.
In the comments write received card, not the comic book described in the listing.
