Returns not accepted?

If a listing says returns not accepted, is it likely a scam? I ordered something, was mailed something different, and the seller is trying to claim they sent me what was listed. "Returns not accepted"

Not necessarily a scam. Newer sellers (and some older sellers) think the by using the No Returns policy they do not have to accept a return. This is not true if the buyer opens an "Item not as described" case within 30 days of receiving the item. There are a few categories where the time limit is much shorter so check the link to the Money Back Guaranty on the specific listing.

Open a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, wrong item. This overrides no-returns. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
