Returns Greater than 30 Days

Question

Any way to get assistance from Ebay on a return from more than 30 days ago? Bought $200 item for vehicle that was in winter storage. When I tried to install, it does not fit. Seller agreed to give me a refund but because it was more than 30 days ago says Ebay will not allow it and he cannot process the return because he cannot see the original purchase order any longer. Any options anyone knows of or am I out $200?

Have you tried opening a return request for the item?

I know you are past the 30-day window, but you can still open a request. The seller would be able to allow the return and refund you (or not).

If that does not work, or if the seller refuses the return, you will need to go through your payment/funding source.
