Returns From Jersey, Channel Islands
Hi Guys,
Bit of a weird one. I live in Jersey and need to return an item to the UK mainland. When returning the item I am prompted to select a courier. Royal Mail is the only one listed so I have no choice but to accept the Royal Mail returns fee, which will subsequently be subtracted from my refund. The issue is that Jersey has its own postal service (Jersey Post) and won't accept postage via Royal Mail. Thus I would have to pay for shipping through Jersey Post and then get charged again for Royal Mail shipping that I don't need in order to complete the return through the app. I would also not technically be returning the item via the approved method outlined in the returns section. Is there a way to avoid being double charged and to return in a more legit way from Jersey to mainland UK? I won't be the first person to have this issue.
Thank you in advance for any help.
