I returned an order bc the seller mistakenly sent the wrong items, but instead of correcting her mistake and exchanging the crystal glasses for the correct design name, she simply refunded my account. There was a clear understanding that I still wanted the correct crystal glasses bc they were a wedding gift I communicated to her, but after the refund, she not only never sent them as our Agreement, she raised the price! I feel this was perhaps a spiteful move on her part bc who pays for the return? Her? Or EBay? It was her mistake. I believe that she is in Breach of an EBAY agreement to me the buyer? Does EBAY not help the buyer in this situation?

OP2 years agoSo any seller on EBay can renege on a selling agreement to the buyer at any time? And bc it was her mistake, did she have to pay the return cost? Not EBay? And this would explain why she also raised the price?? Wow -

Mentor2 years ago@dmc103 I am so sorry this happened to you. The seller refunded your money correct? If she does not want to sell to you eBay cannot force her to do so.
