Returns
Summary: plumcrazywm23 discussed a situation where a buyer purchased a slot car incompatible with their track and erroneously claimed the car was defective. The issue arose from the buyer not reviewing the pictures showing the non-turning front axles and a solid metal chassis. plumcrazywm23 expressed frustration with eBay's lack of support in direct communication and considered accepting the return under the condition of a restocking fee and not covering return postage.
I do not accept returns. Buyer purchased a type of slot car that does not work on his type of track. This is clearly visible from the pics I posted. Says the car is defective because front axles do not turn. The front axles on this car are not supposed to turn as the wheels are not intended to touch track.
Car is not defective? Buyer did not look at the pic that clearly shows a solid metal chassis that will not run on his track. ebay will not call me to discuss.
I am willing to accept the return but I want a restock fee and do not want to pay return postage.
What to do?

Mentor3 weeks agoAll you can do is have the buyer file a return case. eBay’s Money Back Guarantee overrides everything and is the final say. If the buyer believes it’s defective, that’s all that matters.
The more you push back, the greater the chance you might end up with a damaged item when it’s returned.
