Hi can I be sure that my high valued item that I sell on Ebay does not get switched and send back to me for refund?

What kind of an item are you talking about?
If you have any doubts then don't sell it through eBay or any other internet sales venue.

One thing you could consider is using the Auto-pay setting on this page near the bottom for both Auctions and Offers. Buyer management | eBay
When those settings are toggled ON Buyers have to provide a valid payment method prior to bidding on Auctions or participating in sending or receiving offers. They have one our after an auction ends or an offer is accepted to switch to a different payment method but either way you get paid.
As to returns there is no guarantee that a Buyer would not scam you on a bogus return, so at the end of the day it is your choice to sell here or not. You could start with some of the lower priced watches and pens.

Mentor10 months agoUnfortunately there is no way in advance to prevent this. If you get a return of the item and it is not what you sent you report this to eBay after giving the refund. It will then be up to eBay what they do for you.

OP10 months agoThanks, unfortunately I had been burn by this before so I stopped selling on eBay. I was hoping that have secured this type of fraudulent purchases.
