The e-bike I bought doesnâ€™t work and the seller wants me to try different parts he will send me. From what Iâ€™m reading code 30 E is hard to fix and I just want to return it

If you already filed the Return Request with a valid reason per the Ebay Money Back Guarantee ("defective" or "doesn't match description"), the seller is obligated to approve the return request. If they do not, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you, following the instructions I gave you above.

I am on here every day and every day I read posts from buyers that say they closed the request because the seller said to and the buyer never heard from the seller again and the buyer was then unable to ask Ebay to help.

If you close the return request you will never hear from the seller again. Very common.

Itâ€™s an electric bike and after 30 days I pay for shipping. It weighs 90 pounds

The seller says he promises after 30 days he will pay for shipping if I allow him to send parts to fix it. He wants me to cancel the return request but it says if I do that I wonâ€™t be able to return it

Within 30 days from date of delivery, go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under â€œMore actionsâ€ click on â€œReturn itemâ€ and select the reason for the return. Attach a photo if required.
IF your request is approved, the seller will have 3 business days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.
If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 business days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.
