returns
Customer returned item claiming it didn't work. When the item arrived, I tested it and it did work. Where do I go to find out who paid for the return shipping?

Mentor2 years ago@seriousbuyer3 If the buyer filed a return using a not as described reason then YOU paid for the return shipping label. The charge for the label would be on your all transactions page> https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true
You need to report the buyer for return abuse. Since you are a Top Rated Seller if the listing had Buyer pays return shipping then you can receive a credit from eBay for the shipping... I can't remember if it's $6 or $6.50 .
If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back. Use the reason buyer made a false claim> Claimed the item was not as described when that wasn’t true

Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater buyer pays returns. The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.
Seller protection:

Mentor2 years agoThis depends on what reason the buyer selected for returning the item. If he open an Item Not As Described return for a defective item, then you pay for the return, if you want it back.
If it came back and was working fine, you can report the buyer for abuse of the Money Back Guarantee.
