I purchased a product I was unable to use. I've attempted to contact the seller multiple times with no success. I dispute the transaction with my creditor. Now I'm being told the seller replied with a link for me to follow for process a return/refund however due to having requested a dispute with my creditor the system will not allow me to. I still can not reach the seller nor any contact number with ebay to discuss this matter.

Mentor3 years agoYou should not have contacted your credit card issuer. You made the purchase willingly so it is not an unauthorized charge. Once you contact your credit card issuer, ebay will no longer help. In the future, just go to your Purchase history and click the option to Return this item and follow the prompts. The seller will be given 3 days to respond. If no response, on day 4 you go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
