Return/Refund Request from a Buyer
Hi,
I received a return/refund request from a buyer because the item "did not fit." The buyer also did not like the material of the item. They put these reasons on their refund claim. However, I am hesitant to offer a full refund or a refund at all because my store policy states, "no returns." Also, the shipping was free, and now I feel like I should be compensated for the shipping cost of shipping the item. In your opinion, would you only partially refund the buyer, to be an understanding seller, or not refund them at all? Also, if you recommend a partial refund, what percentage would you refund? Thank you!

If the Buyer opened a refund request and used "did not fit" or "just don't like", those are considered remorse returns. Because you do not accept returns you should see the option to decline the return.
Do you see that as an option?

OP8 months agoThank you for your reply! I do see the option to decline the return. I figured that would be one of the best options because of the reason stated for return. I just wanted to check with some experts first. Would the buyer be able to leave negative feedback if I decline the return?

Under the circumstances you describe in your follow up post, this Buyer should not be able to leave a negative feedback. If they do somehow,.please update this post so we can try to help.
