return/refund
I bought an item and it was delivered on Jan. 23rd. It did not work. I contacted the seller and asked for a refund or to return the item for replacement. The seller said he would give me 50% return on the item. I said that was unacceptable. it was broke and i either wanted to return for a rfund or replacement. He said he was sending out another one. it's been since Feb 14th and have yet to replace. I think he is scamming me. I want a refund but not 50%. Ebay thinks i received it and it is ok. I need to speak to a rep from Ebay, the seller is useless. no tracking, no carrier,how long do I wait??

Mentor3 years agoUnfortunately the seller strung you along until your protection period ran out. eBay's Money Back Guarantee covers you for 30 days from receipt. During that time, you should have opened a return for an item that was not as described for a full refund (seller pays for return shipping). There is a link to the Money Back Guarantee on every listing.
At this point, eBay cannot help, but if you paid through PayPal or a credit card, you can open a dispute through them.
