In addition to what @jtzvwbug has provided here in the US Guest purchases cannot be merged with an eBay account and you have to be logged out of your eBay account to do anything with a Guest purchase. But you are still covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. The email you received on that transaction should have a link in it to work on the transaction.
