Returning item to China

We are returning a item from a seller located in China. Evidently we have to pay to send it back because it was wrong item that was our mistake. We are wanting to ship it UPS at a cost of $120.00 Our question involves tariffs?

@miwill_4694 I recommend shipping USPS PRIORITY It can't ship 1st class because there is no tracking delivery confirmation in China for 1st class international.

I don't think that you'd have to pay any tariff with USPS since this is a return.

Be sure to file an official return case AND upload the tracking number into the case.

Here's how to add the tracking information to your return if you're using your own return shipping label:

Go to the return request in Purchase History.
Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
Enter the tracking number.
Select Mark as sent.
