Returning item???

Question

I purchased a coin from the seller. When it arrived it was a bad fake coin. Ebay told me to return the item but it is to china and it will cost almost what I paid for the item. and of course the seller is no longer taking messages on his account. how do I get this resolved.

You don't pay for return shipping if the item is not as described. Here's what to do...

If you received an item that is not as described (in your case counterfeit), you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. eBay will force the refund.

Note that a seller in China will not be able to provide a return shipping label so he will have to send you the money for the label if he wants the item back. In many cases, the seller will try to talk you into closing the case in order to perform or otherwise stall you until the Money Back Guarantee runs out. So just follow the steps above and don't allow the seller to mislead you.
