returning fake product
I recently purchased a few La Mer skincare items. A few of them seem to be FAKE and not authentic (I have authentic ones from La Mer website directly) and the consistency and smell are nothing alike.. I am more than happy to return to the seller as I have no intention to use them as I don't know what they are really made of but I feel I shouldn't have to pay the shipping as they sold a fake item. anyone have success in getting help from eBay to have the seller pay to return the products and even the shipping I paid to get them. I need to learn, if it looks too good to be true it likely IS too good to be true. lesson learned here.

When an item is not as described, the seller pays the return shipping and must issue a full refund.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts. In the comments write does not seem authentic.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
