Returning Empty Envelope Scam
I am a seller being hit with a large amount of empty envelope returns from around the country. They all are 4x6 gray with a little piece of paper inside. This is an organized scam. When I appeal Ebay, I am told it can not be appealed because customer proved they returned the item, or refund was already issued. The items we sell are in very large boxes. The returns are in small plastic 4x6 envelopes. All of the items are from a certain same category of offroad products we sell. The theft is well over 1000.00 this month with no recourse. Any suggestions? Automated Assistance is useless too.
