Returning an item with an obvious old crack and blaming it on shipping
Have printed return label but return packing slip blames crack on shipping. Not true. Photos sent to eBay show crack as being an old one and blaming it on shipping seems fraudulent to me. Unable to talk to a live person. Is it okay to allow the seller ( crook) who has to refund me, get his money back by blaming damage caused by shipping?

·2 years agoif the seller is planning on filing an insurance claim, they need to refund you and have you hang on to the package and item.
If they have it returned, it usually voids any carrier insurance on the original shipment.
