Returning an Item where the posting says "does not accept returns".
Yes, the posting said,"Will not accept Returns". I had sent an email asking for the measurements on the item
and after 4 days the seller did not answer. I forgot I had written the seller and also forgot they did not accept returns and I purchased the item and of course it did not fit. I wrote the seller and asked for an exception to the "no return policy." Of course they did not respond except with an email that said "Return Closed." I thought back about how they did not communicate with me when I asked for a measurement and again wrote them mentioning they were remiss in giving me the information I requested. The brand is a brand I purchase on eBay frequently and the size I purchase is always an XXL This was an XXL and probably was 2 inches smaller than all my other XXL of that style and brand. The item was purchased for $101. and was a top. Any suggestions how to proceed? Am I just out a purchase? So far no response to my second request. Of course not because they did not ever respond to my question I posed to get the measurements in the first place. I have been with eBay for 20 years as a purchaser.

You are out of luck.
You went ahead and purchased the item without knowing the measurements.
The seller was not required to respond to your inquiry regarding measurements, and when they did not provide the measurements, it would have been wise not to make the purchase.
You can resell the item or give it away.
